Help
Answers to common questions about using FlowDock.
This help content is a draft. It will be checked against the released app before launch.
Getting started
FlowDock organizes your digital work into workspaces. Each workspace holds applications, websites, and folders, and launches them together with one click.
A Mac. Supported macOS versions will be listed here once they are confirmed.
Creating a workspace
Create a workspace, give it a name that describes the work, and add the resources you use for it. Step-by-step instructions will be added once they are confirmed against the released app.
Adding applications, websites, and folders
Three kinds: applications on your Mac, websites and URLs, and local folders.
Yes. A single workspace can combine applications, websites, and folders.
Launching a workspace
FlowDock opens the applications, websites, and folders saved in that workspace. You can launch from the app or from the macOS menu bar.
Managing workspace limits
Up to 3 workspaces, with up to 5 resources in each.
Your saved data is never deleted. Free users can select up to 3 active workspaces, and only the Free allowance is launchable and editable.
Understanding Free and Pro
Free includes a limited number of workspaces and resources. Pro removes both limits and includes new Pro capabilities as they become available, subject to the published plan terms.
Troubleshooting
Check that each application is still installed, that each folder still exists at the same location, and that each website address is correct. Detailed troubleshooting steps will be added after the first release.
