Find Any Workspace With Search and Quick Switch

Two quick ways to get to the workspace you need: search the dashboard, or press ⌘K.

Once you have a few workspaces, you want to get to the right one fast. FlowDock gives you three simple ways to do it.

Search the dashboard

Type in the search box at the top of Your Workspaces. Search looks at more than names. It also checks descriptions, apps, websites, and folders.

So if you type terminal, your Development workspace shows up, because Terminal is one of its apps.

Press ⌘K for Quick Switch

Press ⌘K while FlowDock is open. Quick Switch appears with your workspaces listed. Type a few letters, use Tab to move through the results, and press Enter to open one.

Use the number shortcuts

Each workspace card shows a number. Press ⌘1 to ⌘9 to open that workspace's details.

These shortcuts work while FlowDock is the active app. They are not system-wide shortcuts.

Then launch

From the workspace details, choose Launch Workspace. FlowDock opens its apps, websites, and folders, and shows you a result for each one.
